Kristin has been the best resource ever since I had my first baby! I was struggling with breastfeeding very early on and reached out to Kristin, who was able to get me an appointment quickly. I felt so comfortable and so at ease right away. Kristin helped identify various issues my baby was having related to feeding. I HIGHLY recommend any mom, but especially new moms who plan to or are trying to breastfeed, to see Kristin as soon as you can!

Kristin literally changed my life! I went from 30 minutes of sleep a night to 9 1/2 hours with a six-day-old baby!! I was about to give up after suffering from raw nipples when I happened across this page in a sleep-deprived stupor. After one visit, I could sleep, my baby was latching better despite a tongue and lip tie (that no one else mentioned before her!), and she began gaining weight quickly. In the hospital, the lactation specialist killed my confidence, but thanks to Kristin, my little girl and I will continue our breastfeeding bonding well-rested and pain-free.

What I liked about Kristin’s approach was that she always provided a possible solution. Kristin was also super helpful in answering other questions and concerns my husband and I had. In addition, she provided education on different topics and delivered the information in a way that was easy to understand. This was very much appreciated, especially as a new mom.

While working with Kristin, I felt that she truly cared about my baby and us as parents. She even went above and beyond by attending a physical therapy session, just for support. I HIGHLY recommend any mom, but especially new moms who plan to or are trying to breastfeed to see Kristin as soon as you can!

I visited Smart Mama Lactation Consulting about a month ago when my baby was 3 weeks old.

Although we didn’t have major difficulties with breastfeeding , I didn’t feel super confident about it so my partner and I went...it was EVERYTHING we needed and more.

Kristin made us feel like we had all the time in the world to discuss literally anything about being a first time parent in general!

Kristin guided us through breastfeeding, gave us pointers and encouragement, provided some support for us as a couple and she even helped me identify some postpartum anxiety I was experiencing and gently advised me to go see my therapist again; which I probably would have taken months to decide on my own to do!

Last but definitely not least, she gave us sleeping advice and we have been able to rest ever since!

I cannot stress it enough! EVERY parent would benefit from spending some much needed time with Kristin!

I got referred to Kristin by a friend and I am so glad I contacted her. I would highly recommend a prenatal visit. She taught me what to expect for the first 5 days once my son was born before she would be back to our home! This eased some anxiety going into labor and gave me some confidence. She came a couple times then after my son was born and I don't know if I would have continued breastfeeding without her help. She not only was a huge help with latching and teaching me a lot about what to expect or try but she was a huge encouragement to me as well. After each visit, I felt so empowered to continue even though it was hard! She responded very quickly to any questions/concerns I had and never rushed our visits. Definitely recommend Kristin!
